In case you didn’t notice… We kind of love Jesus here at 7 Days Time.
That being said, we feel that it is incredibly important to share with you our statement of faith– what we believe when it comes to worshiping God and following Christ. After all, that is the entire foundation and purpose of this ministry.
So here is our official statement of faith.
WE BELIEVE THAT:
- One infinitely perfect God exists as Three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ was born of immaculate conception and lived on this earth as a man AND God.
- Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins on the cross to give us an opportunity of eternal life.
- Jesus Christ rose from the grave and HE LIVES!
- Jesus Christ WILL return.
- The Holy Spirit convicts us, guides us, directs us and is always with us.
- The Holy Spirit dwells within us and transforms lives of believers to become more Christ-like.
- The Bible is the absolute, true, inerrant Word of God.
- Man and woman were made in the image of God.
- Heaven and hell do exist. We will all face final judgement when we approach the throne of God in the Last Days.
- When a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord of their Life, they are born again through the Holy Spirit as children of God and are secure in their eternal relationship with Him.
- God’s grace is a free gift. We cannot “earn” our way into heaven by completing a checklist of items. The only way to Heaven is by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior.
- Following Christ is the hardest yet absolutely most rewarding experience of our existence in this world.
“But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.” ~Romans 3:21-26 NIV
