Welcome to another week of our Everyday Jesus link-up. Be sure to link-up below this post, comment on your neighbor’s blog and share with your friends… Because Jesus is everywhere, every day!

My Mama has told me on more than one occasion that I am a girl who never wanted the party to end.
And now, entering in my 3rd decade of life, I have to say I can totally see that.
I am an extrovert. I love people. I love hanging out and partying like a Jesus rock star.
But now that I am older, I DO have those moments when I am ready to wrap the party up, head home, get in comfy pants and hit my bed. (Something about loving a soldier, raising a toddler, and doing ministry seem to require more sleep than previous life seasons…)
That’s how I kind of feel today. Because, my dear friend, this blog post is what I am considering to be the “Farewell Tour” of the #EverydayJesus link-up.
Need a Kleenex? Because I might.
I am a stubborn little heifer sometimes. I often want to cling to something long after its season is over, probably because the enemy convinces me that anything short of forever is a failure.
Which we all know is a lie.
#EverydayJesus weekly link-up party has been rocking and rolling for two years. I have connected with some incredible writers, and plan to keep those connections going. However, God is calling me into a new season of life with some new great opportunities, and this was one of the things He is calling me to lay down.
Because while I think I am an OK juggler, I am not THAT talented. (Remember when I told you how I once split my lip open playing ping-pong? Yeah. Trying to avoid that metaphorical scenario in my ministry life!)
I want to honor each of you and your time/effort it takes to participate in this community. As the new things come on board in my ministry, I can’t dedicate the time or attention that you deserve. So apparently, God is calling me to dig deep and find the courage to say adios (at least for now) to the weekly #EverydayJesus link-up.
For all of my faithful readers out there, don’t panic… He hasn’t told me to stop blogging at 7 Days Time. (WHEW!) I love writing and I adore the challenge of seeking the Lord daily to come up with new analogies/blogging material to share with each of you.
Also, I wanted to share with you one of the new opportunities that He has nudged me to say yes to: Starting January 1st, I will be the new Experience Blog Editor for Army Wife Network, as I join their core team of women.
This is kind of a big deal for me, because it is a big audience… As of this writing, they have over 82,000 likes on their Facebook page! #YayYikes!
But this transition also means that I have to lay to rest some other things so I don’t one day end up in the fetal position in the corner surrounded by Dove Chocolate wrappers speaking gibberish.
So to my faithful linker-uppers…. Thank you for a fantastic two years of weekly community. I seriously hope and pray you continue to stop by from time to time to just say, “HEY!” Also, I encourage all of you to connect with me on Facebook or via email at sharita@7daystime.com.
Oh. And if you are feeling motivated, would you send up a prayer or twelve for me in this new season? I want to continue to live out my OneWord of Rest for the remainder of my life– which is going to take a continual spirit of seeking Christ, especially if He continues to call me to bigger (ahem, and scarier?!?!) avenues of ministry.
Thanks again for your faithfulness in this community! Farewell, my link-up friends. Farewell.
Even without a weekly link-up… Here’s to continuing to seek Jesus in our Everyday!
For His Glory,
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” ~Hebrews 10:24-25 NLT
