Dedicated to all current, former and future army wives. We appreciate you. And hang in there, sister. You can do this.
Dear Army Wife,
I see you standing there,
Know this little tribute,
Is just something to say, “We care!”
It is no secret that you’ve been called,
To quite the daunting goal,
To love and support your soldier,
No matter the effort or toll.
The light nights and early mornings,
The coming and the going,
The tears, the hugs, the laughter,
The prayers and just not knowing.
Learning how to parent solo,
Maintaining the peace in HH6,
Moving, teaching, loving, living,
Unclogging the sink which again needs fixed.
Getting creative with your menus,
When finances are stretched too tight,
As your Beloved straps on his boots,
And steps out the door to fight.
Unpacking boxes, painting walls,
Making friends in record time,
Only to say goodbye again soon,
When orders come down the line.

And while you are here, I am curious… If you are an army wife, what is the hardest part of your calling? What is the best aspect? And for those of you army wife supporters, feel free to leave a bit of encouragement for an wife who might need a pick-me-up. (Because we need it. Like, daily. HA.)
Oh, and thanks for your support. #KeepCalmAndSoldierOn #ForTheGloryOfGod
Serving Him,
“The one who called you is faithful and he will do it.”
