Celebrating 7 years & Our Golden Blogiversary (Giveaway)

Today, let’s celebrate!

No, I didn’t manage to train my toddler boy to stop dumping sticky substances on the floor within minutes of me sweeping and/or mopping (if anyone has a hack for this, let me know. Better yet, I will hire you to clean up after our son). And no, my kindergarten daughter has not yet realized that mismatched socks or misplacing her favorite shorts does not require some level of tears.

Today, we celebrate seven (SEVEN!) years of ministry here at 7 Days Time.

And really, since we have “7” in our name, I think this counts as our Golden Blogiversary.

God has taken us for quite an incredible ride the last seven years. I answered the call to ministry at that time, wondering how I could have a “career” as a military spouse that moved ever 2-3 years. Enter stage left, the glory of online community.

While I am still (mostly) working for “Jesus Dollars” (I’ve heard the retirement plan is out of this world), I am beyond grateful for this community and the ability to write our story to share with others, for God’s glory.

In the past seven years, I’ve published 900+ blog posts on this website (That’s a lot of words, even for me). I’ve fielded hundreds of comments and built some pretty incredible relationships that have blossomed from URL to IRL (In real life).

The past seven years, I have shared with you some of our highest of highs, like the birth of our daughter and more recent birth of our son. We have moved across the country three times per military orders. My husband graduated Ranger School and has been promoted twice. I’ve completed my Master’s degree and am now working on my PhD. I’ve found joy in coaching others, preached a handful of sermons and hopefully encouraged you faithful readers out there.

We have also walked through the lowest of lows, seeking Jesus in our everyday every step of the way. We’ve experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage. I’ve discovered stress triggers in my life (and muddled through the process of letting Jesus heal me). We have learned hard (yet necessary lessons) and it’s been a privilege to share them with you.

So today, I say thank you. Thank you for following, supporting and engaging through the years. Thanks for reading and allowing me to share how God is at work in our life as we explore our mission of being serious about faith but lighthearted about life.

In honor of our Golden Blogiversary, I’m giving away a 7DT prize pack, because hey– Jesus said it is better to give than to receive, right? (Plus, I really enjoy journal/inky pen shopping).

The prize pack will include the following:

*A journal
*Inky Pens (or gel pens, winner’s choice!)
*One of my Top 10 Favorite faith books (Topic TBD by the winner)
*A $25 Visa Gift Card
*A customized “Zentangle” tile (Again, winner picks design)
*Any other cool items I run into along the way

It is easy to enter. Just follow the prompts in the giveaway box below. And if you have enjoyed this journey here at 7 Days Time, please share this post or invite your friends to like the Facebook Page.

Thanks again for your support and engagement. This ministry is such a blessing to my soul, and I fervently pray that you can say the same!

For His Glory,
