A couple of weeks ago, I bid adieu to my 20’s and welcomed in my 30’s.
As the extrovert I am, I was pondering what I should do to usher in this new decade of life. Should I party like a Jesus rockstar? Get another tattoo? (Oh wait. Already did that after my marathon…)
But, as the Lord often does, He surprised me and told me He wanted me to do something a little bit different… Hence, the #30Years30Acts of kindness project was born.
On my actual birthday-day, He had a doozy for me.
Check out the video to discover why I was wearing my wedding dress and drinking mineral water in a wine glass on a random weekday afternoon.

Yes, dear friends… I am donating my wedding dress to NICU Helping Hand’s Angel Gown Program. When I told my hubby of this revelation, he was floored. Why? Because my wedding was very much a dreamy, wonderful experience. I truly treasure my dress and what it represents. But I want to be more focused on obedience, so once the next dress donation cycle opens, my dress will move from hanging in my closet to hopefully hanging (just a tiny bit) on the hearts of grieving parents.
What is the most memorable act of kindness that has ever been done to you? Or that you have done for someone else? I would love to hear all about it. Join in and leave a comment below.
I leave you with one of our guiding scriptures for this ministry, specifically with our Factor of 7 Act of Kindness experiences.
“Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity.” ~Luke 6:38 MSG
It is absolutely my pleasure, my privilege to salute Team Gramkow and the Williams family this year.
Soli Deo Gloria, to the Glory of God alone.
