Trust in His Timing (#EverydayJesus)

Trust in TimingI’ve heard it said on numerous occasions in a variety of settings…

Time is relative.

That might be true, but all time is valuable. And all time is from God.

Ask someone who narrowly avoided a car accident how precious they find one second .

The length of one minute depends on which side of the bathroom door you are standing.

One hour can make a world of difference if that hour is spent trying to corral a toddler as you wait to see the doctor.

A single day can be exceptionally powerful depending if you spent that day rejoicing or complaining.

One week can set the stage for new habits to be formed.

Over the span of a month old bills are paid and new ones crop up.

A year can be full or empty, depending on how well you value the time given from God.

A lifetime can bring us closer to heaven or pushes us farther away via our personal decisions.

In all of these examples, one thing stands true:

God is the maker, keeper and giver of our time. We can trust in this truth of His timing.
