O.N.E is Enough (Message Recap)

In a world of more, it’s hard to understand and fully grasp the concept that One  is enough. When it comes to loving and serving others, this is exceptionally true. As we enter into the holiday season, it is a great time to embrace this concept.

Recently, I had the opportunity to address about 250 students at the 2013 Family Career and Community Leaders of America District H Conference in Garnett, KS. God put this idea of servant leadership concept of O.N.E is enough. Here’s a recap/summary. Enjoy!

Serving the ONE,

Hidden Ah-Ha’s: Faith by Deeds

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think we kind of live in a “do what I say, not what I do” culture.

Or more like a “please ignore the fact that I say one thing but do another” culture.

Hey, I’m not condemning or convicting anyone (totally not my job– plus, I struggle with this too. It’s like we are sinners or something.) But  we act as if this whole concept of living up to the call on our lives is negotiable, like we can make the rules.

Newsflash: It’s not and we don’t. [Read more…]

You got questions? He’s got answers.

I’m not kidding. He really does. How do I know? Because I’ve been there. (Shoot, I’m STILL there some days.)

As we celebrate a FRESH LAUNCH of 7 Days Time and do a huge giveaway this week (enter below or click here if you are reading this via email), I wanted to introduce you to one of major purposes for the website/ministry overhaul.

Yep. I am now a Blackaby Ministries International Certified Spiritual Leadership Coach. And I am ready to serve you.

Curious as to what spiritual leadership coaching is and what it can do for you? Check out the following vlog. [Read more…]

Being the Brand

You recognize them anywhere and their image might conjure up all sorts of feelings in you.

No. I’m not talking about that kid that used to pick on you in elementary school or your high school crush.

I’m referring to a well-marketed brand. You know, like the Nike Swoosh or Twitter’s cartoon bird silhouette or even those magical golden double arches of McDonald’s.

Well guess what? Now 7 Days Time has a brand too! (With fewer calories than Mickey D’s.)  Perhaps you noticed it sprinkled around the last few days– on posts, pages, newsletter emails. [Read more…]

Welcome to a FRESH 7 Days Time! (And a HUGE giveaway!)

Sorry about all the CAPS LOCK and EXCLAMATION POINTS in the title.

But I’m  a little bit excited. I kind of want to make loud noises and be a bit obnoxious. However, I shall refrain. (For now.) So…

Welcome, dear friends, to a FRESH 7 Days Time (and a giveaway.) As you can see, we have drastically expanded and gave this ministry a complete makeover. (I refuse to say “new and improved” because if something is truly new, then it couldn’t have been improved upon… and vice versa.) Anywho.

This major website/ministry overhaul has taken about 12 weeks (God called me to do this myself and I am about as codex tech savvy as my 8-month-old infant.) That being said, I give ALL the glory to God… This revamp has involved more prayers that I can count, a few (or more than a few) squares of dark chocolate and about a thousand Google questions starting with either “How do I…” or “What happens if…”

But we’ve made it. And I couldn’t be more thrilled. Thankful. Hopeful.

So welcome. WAWHOOO!! <had to get that out of my system.) [Read more…]

Remodel coming your way!

Hi friends… Sorry to disappoint, but there’s no Five Minute Friday post today.

HOWEVER… I did want to share with you some super cool news.

The reason I am not cranking out new fresh posts at the moment is because 1) I am at home with family in KS and 2) I am working overtime transferring these 441 previous blog posts to my NEW website. (I want to allow PLENTY of time for this major chunk of the project, since I don’t really know what I am doing and I don’t want to “miss” any fresh posts not getting transferred to the new site.)
