I’m kind of a nerd.
Not quite a nerd of Steve Urkel magnitude, but a little bit of a nerd nonetheless.
I love inky pens, journals, and most office supplies in general. I treat books as old friends, totally dig résumé editing, and while I despise numbers, nothing gets me more excited than formatting a color-coded spreadsheet. Oh, and I listen to army cadence while working out.

My heart is all a-flutter today… I am SO excited about this post… AND I DIDN’T EVEN WRITE IT! That’s right, after over two years of me writing and blogging, my Beloved Husband has blessed and honored me with guest posting. (BE STILL MY HEART!) Sometimes God just blows me away.
Seriously. I look back on the last few years, and I’m like “REALLY, GOD? REALLY!?! Wow. You rock.”
A couple of years ago, I was blindsided by the call to ministry… I didn’t see it coming. Like, at all. I had a bachelor’s degree in animal science, for Pete’s sake.
And if you would have told me I would be in ministry, write 400+ blog posts in the next couple of years and become a spiritual leadership coach, I would have seriously wondered if you had gotten a little cray-cray with the communion wine. (Although I think most places, including our current church, use grape juice… but I digress.) [Read more…]
